Ceelo is a kick ass gambling game played with 3 dice. People often think that Craps is “the dice” game, but Ceelo has been around since the late 1800’s and is easier to learn, play and money can move through a game of Ceelo very fast. The origins of the game are not clear, but the earliest documentation originated in China and was played by Chinese-American laborers. Ceelo flourished in New York City in the 1970’s and 80s and is still popular today.
The game centers around beating your opponent or opponents by rolling a higher “point” or winning by rolling one of the instant win combinations such as 4-5-6. A fun twist is that there are rolls that equate to instant losses such as 1-2-3 so you never know what the dice will show. There are a tremendous number of variations in the game that has existed for over 130 year.

Ceelo Party was started by Ceelo C as a way to bring people from all walks of life together. He hosted a birthday party and needed an activity to bring his friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and their kids together. Ceelo Party was born and the event was an amazing success with 2 bracket winners (A and B) out of 83 entrants. Few people at the party had heard of Ceelo and it gave Ceelo C the idea to bring the game to the masses. Years later Ceelo C still plays Ceelo with people he meets at bars (a few free drinks have been won), in airports between flights, at his events, in the streets, with the neighborhood kids who love to throw dice, and of course sitting around the pool with his kids.
Ceelo has a long and storied history dating back to China and finding roots in the streets of New York and Chicago. There have been stories of people losing paychecks over games of Ceelo. Ceelo C wishes you the best and hopes that we all play within our limits and have a great time.
